18th October 2021 The Ministry of Trade and Economic Development has extended the subsidizing of fees for all new registrations as stated by Minister Hon. Tatafu Moeaki during the acclaimed first-ever “Trade Week 2021”.
The aim is to provide relief and to encourage businesses, sole traders and cooperative societies to enter the formal sector. It’s also a pathway for the youth who want to kickstart their new business startup ideas but also encourages existing informal businesses to migrate to the formal sector.
The Minister for Trade and Economic Development Hon Tatafu Moeaki wishes to invite the public to take advantage of this rare opportunity and register their operations with the Ministry.
Businesses enterprises are invited to take advantage of this opportunity.
The Trade Week 22021 had a focus on Investing in Tonga’s Economic Recovery considering the serious disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global economy and supply chains.
