30th June, 2021 TONGAN The Ministry of Trade and Economic Development (MTED) in partnership with the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Tonga National Tripartite Consultation Committee introduced the Rapid Assessment Report on the Impacts of COVID-19 on Businesses and Employment in Tonga.
The report is based on a rapid assessment survey conducted in late 2020 and provides information and analysis on the socioeconomic impacts of the COVID-19.
Plans are already underway by the Ministry of Trade & Economic Development to commence the follow-up assessment in the up-coming months.
