You can pay taxes either online via the Ministry’s e-payment portal or in person at the Ministry of Revenue and Customs office. Payments may be made by direct bank transfers, credit card payments, or cash at designated banks.

Personal taxes are due annually by 31 March for the previous financial year. Extensions may be granted upon request, but late payments may incur penalties.

You can register your business for a tax ID number online through the Ministry’s Business Registration Portal or visit the Ministry’s office.  You can find more information on the Tonga Business Registry here.
